Conservative Management of Urinary Incontinence
SOGC Guidelines - No. 186, December 2006

What is the evidence for the uresta® pessary?

The uresta® pessary has been rigorously tested in clinical trials conducted over 2 years. The results showed that it decreased or stopped urinary incontinence by both objective measures (pads tests, 7-day urologs) and quality of life measures. Among women successfully fitted with the uresta® pessary, 76% continued using it after the trial was completed.
